Find answers to common questions about Achilles.fit™
What is Achilles.fit™?
Track workouts, plan training, analyze progress. Running, strength, cycling, swimming, and habits in one app.
🚀 Why choose Achilles over other platforms?
You own your data. Export everything, delete anytime. No lock-in, no hostage situations with your fitness history.
Deep customization. Adjust training volume, paces, equipment, goals, and exercise preferences. Your plan adapts to you, not the other way around.
Full edit capability. Swap exercises, modify workouts, change your schedule. Other apps give you a plan and say "take it or leave it." We say "make it yours."
No expensive device required. Works on any browser, any device. You don't need a $500 watch to train smart.
Real power, simple interface. Four sports (run, strength, bike, swim), habit tracking, progress analytics, AI chat assistance. All without the bloat.
We actually care. No dark patterns, no upsell traps, no "premium tier" holding basic features hostage. Just good software built by athletes who use it themselves.
💵 How much does Achilles cost?
$7/month, or $70/year (two months free). Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial - no card charged until it ends, and you can cancel anytime.
Cancelling never locks you out of your own history: read access, data export and account deletion stay free forever.
📋 How do I modify my training plan?
Settings that update dynamically (no plan regeneration):
- •Running volume (±2 levels): Workouts scale automatically (e.g., medium → hard scales distances)
- •Running fitness: Training paces recalculate instantly
- •Strength training goal: Rep ranges and rest periods adjust on-the-fly
- •Experience level (±1 level): Exercise count adjusts for strength workouts
- •Equipment: Exercise suggestions update
- •Personal records: Tracking only
- •Race goals: Informational only
Settings that require plan regeneration:
- •Running volume (>2 level jump): e.g., very_easy → extreme
- •Experience level (>1 level jump): e.g., beginner → advanced
- •Runs/lifts per week: Changes workout frequency and split structure
- •Training timeframe: Affects periodization (4/8/12/16 weeks)
- •Primary goal: Running vs strength focus
Access settings via Settings in the navbar. Large changes prompt for confirmation to ensure proper progression.
🏋️ Can I track different types of workouts?
Running, strength, cycling, swimming, and habits. Log workouts manually through the app, or connect Strava, Garmin, Whoop, Oura, COROS or Fitbit and let them sync automatically.
📊 How does the analysis feature work?
Workout patterns, progress charts, PRs, and trends. Data-driven insights.
⚙️ What settings can I customize?
Main Settings Hub: Profile (name, timezone), theme, Google Calendar sync, Apple Watch (coming soon), data export, account management.
Running Settings: Training volume (difficulty, runs/week), running fitness & paces, race goals, personal records.
Strength Settings: Lifts per week, equipment availability (gym/home), one-rep maxes.
Habit Settings: Daily habit tracking configuration.
Exercise Settings: Manage exercise library and preferences.
Motivation Settings: Daily motivation style and content preferences.

🌎 Can I change my timezone?
Timezone is set during onboarding. You can update it in Settings → Profile, but changing your timezone may affect how past workouts and habits are displayed relative to dates. For best results, set your timezone once and avoid changing it mid-plan.
🔒 Is my data secure?
Yes. Your data is encrypted, never sold, and always private. You can export or delete everything at any time, and deleting your account removes your third-party device connections with it.
💾 What data management options do I have?
Export CSV, reset, or delete. All in Settings.
🏁 How do I set up race goals?
Settings → Running. Set distance, date, goal time.
👥 Who built this? And why?
